Teaching for Impact
In 2023 we were named 1 of 25 Quality Teaching Strategy lead schools in Western Australia. We demonstrate, share and lead effective classroom instructions across the system and we will provide assistance in phases of learning and learning areas.

Teaching for Impact is:

informed by research, evidence and the practical experience of our teachers and principals

available to all schools.

Teaching for Impact aims to:

improve learning outcomes for students

provide a common language between teachers and schools

support staff to evaluate their own practice to improve the quality of teaching in their school.

As a QTS Lead School
We will:

exemplify and share practices and expectations in Teaching for Impact.

build understanding of effective school cultures and capability in how to use Teaching for Impact to improve student achievement.

provide evidence-based professional learning on effective teaching practice.

support teachers to evaluate the impact of their practice and improve by extending their range of teaching strategies.
