Our Community

A good school needs full support from its community. We are privileged to have an outstanding community and our School Board is a strong representation from this. It was noted in our Public School Review 2020 that the ‘School Board strongly advocated for the school. Their respect for school leaders and staff, and their pride in the positive behaviour of students, is evident.’  We have strong relationships with many community groups including sporting bodies and our local CRC.

We have a great relationship with the elderly community members and we often share our assembly items with them, have interactive days and sing at the annual senior citizens dinner each Christmas.

SOCK WEEK

We are huge advocates for Save Our Country Kids, a fantastic initiative started by our local CRC.  Some of our children featured in a statewide campaign to raise awareness about safety on our roads. You can watch the video here.
